The Softlight 2 produces a lush, Vermeer-like, soft-shadow light at 300-900 off the lens-subject axis. It can be used as a key, fill, side, top or background light. For large areas or when placed far from the subject, several lights close together create a giant soft source. Using two lamps, the maximum wattage for this light is 2000 watts (2 x 1000 watt lamps). Additional lamps of 750, 650, or 500 watts can be used in pairs or any combination.
